i’m on a roll
posted on September 3, 2024
today i woke up feeling like a taxidermied rat.
also, OK Computer could be the soundtrack for the Steins;Gate anime.
you know, when they say that sometimes we dream about our biggest fears or insecurities so that our brain can somehow figure out in real time how to better deal with that very situation in the future?
i think they’re right, sometimes.
when i started living alone, i would make mildly concerning dreams.
i’d dream that while i was coming back home and unlocking the door, people would rush at me and force their way in. iirc i would either try to force them off or try to get inside before they could get to me, but i guess i failed.
i’d dream that they’d ravage my house, steal all my shit, or do bad shit to me. idk, i guess i’m somewhat paranoid about that happening in real life, too. when you live alone you do feel extra vulnerable.

Hey antisocial, it gets better.
but it only gets better if you want it to get better, if you want it to get worse, it will get worse
>I'd live extremely paranoid just because I lived alone in a pretty big hous
lmao i also get that when i sleep at my old grandma's place, it's huge and it has a lot of her dolls still laying around... grandma died a few years ago but i guess nobody in the family wanted to get rid of those. gives me the creeps every time, tho.
huh, i had to look up what taxidermy was, and i don't think i'll relate soon to you, i also don't see the need to do that to a rat considering there are lots of rats out in the world.

that sounds something i'd be into.
dusty, old dolls just laying around... sounds fun to me. might be weird, dunno.
also supposedly i was going to reply earlier but the laptop battery died mid-post and when it charged i forgot i was doing that lolz
yeah, well i think taxidermy is weird/cruel, but i also think it fit how i woke up that day... i was feeling just really bad physically. idk its hard to explain
>dusty, old dolls just laying around...
during the day they're cute and give a sort of nostalgic company, but during the night... not only they're all somehow angled towards the bed, but they're also so many... brrr it legit gave me the creeps! even if its totally irrational...
